Telehouse America offers the following data center space options in low, medium and high density power requirements:
Common Colocation Space
- Full Cabinet Space with power allocation is Telehouse America’s most commonly requested service, common or shared colocation space provides a cost-effective solution for housing IT equipment in individual locking cabinets. Full Locking Cabinets, provided by Telehouse America or customer-provided, are accessible 24×7 only to authorized personnel listed and are required to sign cabinet keys in and out upon each visit.
- Partial Cabinet/Rack Unit Space – This option is for Telehouse America customers who require the peace of mind offered by a secure colocation facility, but do not require a full cabinet or have smaller power needs. Telehouse America offers space in half-cabinet and rack unit increments, including power, access and IP bandwidth based on specific requirements.
Caged Space
Telehouse America offers a caged space with power allocation option for organizations seeking a more private, secure and cost-effective shared space alternative. Similar to Telehouse America’s shared space option, the cabinets or open-relay racks are secured within a metal cage. Access to the cage is granted only to an authorized personnel list via card reader and keys.
Dedicated Suites
Your space in the data center can occupy one rack, or an entire room. If your space requirements call for more than just a few cabinets, TELEHOUSE can provide a dedicated data center suite to meet your needs. This option offers you all the benefits of being located in our facility- power-protection, security, environmental controls and connectivity- but gives you a much higher level of privacy and flexibility wihin a walled enclosure. With a dedicated suite, your staff can operate on site 24/7 to manage your equipment and conditioned environment, or utilize TELEHOUSE’s on-site managed services. In the event of a disruption in your primary facility, your assigned staff can operate right from the data center, minimizing downtime.
